I've been using the Sarama library in one of my projects for the past few months, and I've noticed it's widely adopted both in open source and across many organizations.
I'm not sure if being hosted under IBM imposes any specific constraints, but I was curious if there’s an opportunity to set up a mentorship program(e.g., low-level code walkthroughs). This could help onboard new contributors who are interested in the project(folks like me), and potentially grow into reviewers and maintainers over time based on their contributions.
I believe such an initiative could really help strengthen and sustain the project over the long term. Let me know your thoughts.
