Delete a content item based on a certain condition.

In RemovingAsync, I throw an exception to prevent deletion of a content item used in VendorIndex.

    throw new InvalidOperationException("Cannot delete content item used in VendorIndex.");

    return null;

}

}

But even with this exception, the content item still gets deleted. We need a way to stop deletion based on a condition without it being removed.

Unless the exception is fatal, such exceptions will be swallowed and logged.

There's no feature explicitly to prevent the removal of a content item, like we have CreateContentContext.Cancel and similarly in PublishContentContext.Cancel to be used in the respective handler events. Please open an issue about adding one for remove too.

Until then, you can apply a less than ideal workaround of rolling back the transaction, and thus the content item save, in RemovedAsync with ISession.CancelAsync() or maybe ResetAsync().
