Jean-Thierry Kéchichian Community Award 2025 - cast your votes!

After the passing of our beloved Jean-Thierry to honor him, keep his memory alive, and foremost, inspire people to do good work for the community, we launched an award named after him for exceptional community members. Every year, the community votes on who has done the most for Orchard Core. After the nominations, it's now time to vote!

Cast your vote here! Voting ends at 10:00 PM UTC on the 10th of November, and we'll announce the winner at Harvest!

The vote uses ranked-choice voting provided by RCV123.org. That way, you don't have to select a single community member, but you can rank the nominees in your order of preference. In the end, we'll still have a single winner.

What does the winner get?

The award is foremost about recognition. However, the community provides some perks too:

• Mention of each year's winner in the docs.
• Post about it under the Orchard Core social media.
• Lombiq provides free custom domain usage on DotNest, publicizing the winner in Lombiq's media, and a year of sponsorship similar to other open source contributors and projects.
• If your company works with Orchard Core and would like to incentivize community members, please let us know what else you can add!

I just notice there are @Piedone & @BenedekFarkas from Lombiq guys, shall I vote for the indivisual work to OC and other repos or Lombiq as whole?

Coz Lombiq did a great work as entity TBH, but for invisual I might suggest to add @sfmskywalker if it's possible he doing a great job for Elsa Worflow even if he didn't do a contribution into OC, but the module that he made for OC is something valuable IMHO

@hishamco The registration period closed on the 29th. Since we have already received votes, we cannot modify the voting interface or add anyone. It would also not be fair, as the new candidate would have less chance.
You can vote for candidates one by one.
Please nominate him next year anyway! :)
