Feature request: Lightweight CLI for executing statements (low priority)

d8 -e treats its argument as if it's a script to execute. Although eshost -e is more convenient for a lot of things by evaluating and printing the expression, it would also be nice to have a lightweight way to run statements without writing them in a file

@littledan would a command line flag like -e that doesn't wrap the expression in print(...) fit the bill or is the CLI part (that prints the result of every expression, like node) what you're really looking for?

If there's a way to print the value while also running it as a statement, that would be ideal. Anyway, this is just a convenience suggestion, and I'm getting along fine as is.
