Markdown Card images cannot be resized. Worked in 2025.11 not working in 2025.12

Markdown card does not allow changing the image size in 2025.12 but did in 2025.11.
Multiple users with the same problem

With my current configuration I would expect the width and height in my card YAML configuration to remain the same

I replaced your example with a much simpler/trivial example, didn't need all that extra card mod stuff and complex templates.

No problems, I just pasted from my config.

The problem isn't just with the image. The tables have also stopped working properly.

Tables: we can take out the borders with a theme variable, but the additional padding’s can’t be removed..

It seems there are already other topics discussing the table. So, still talking about images, in version 2025.12.1 there's still a problem. The size configuration is no longer being respected when passed in the HTML tag. It used to work perfectly.
