Browser support

What browsers does this library support? Looking at the source code this might even support IE8 but IE9 would probably be a sensible target.

I'd say the goal is to support down to IE9, but currently I don't actually run any tests in web browsers, so there's no real guarantee of that. I am (slowly) working on adding tests.
