Game doesn't start at all

No window shows, except for terminal after some time:

I also verified files through Steam. Tried different launching methods, through Steam, with the .bat file, with command line arguments and without them. Only disabling the mod with the 2nd .bat script made the game launch.

Might be because the game is installed under Program Files. Can you try launching the game as admin somehow?
Trying to install it on a different drive or not under program files might help.

What's the window title name when you run it in windowed mode? Does it match what the cmd prompt shows?

When I run it as administrator, it says it can't find portal2.exe. When I change "portal2.exe" to the absolute path "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Portal 2\portal2.exe" the same thing as before happens. When I run it in windowed mode, with the mod turned off, it's called Portal 2 - Direct3D 9, so it matches. When installed on another drive, nothing changes.

Please try if that fixes your issue. If not, please add the new -debug commandline arg to the bat file. This will immediately spawn the external console. Please copy and paste the output here

First I tried a few different methods of launching without -debug and it showed empty console window named P2-RTX Debug Console. It didn't show anything for some time, so I closed it. Then I tried to add -debug flag and this is what it shows:

So I assume you've installed everything correctly and not fiddled with the d3d9.dll's?
Like you did not somehow switch the d3d9.dll in the root folder with the one inside the .trex folder? Asking because the one in the trex folder is 64 bit and the one in the root folder is 32 bit.

Error 126 suggests that the d3d9.dll inside the trex folder couldn't be found (or that it's not allowed to load it)

The dmp suggests that remix has insufficient rights to read and write certain process memory.
Are you on an admin account? I'm not sure if launching the batch or portal via admin rights, also launches the remix server with admin rights.

Might also be missing dependencies ..

Yes, I have not fiddled with anything, I verified files of the game multiple times and copied the RTX mod multiple times too. I am on admin account. I can't install things from the link, because the installers say that newer version is already installed on PC. I ran sfc and DISM, just in case, they didn't detect anything. I don't know what changed, but now when I try to run the .bat file as admin, it still can't find portal2.exe, so I change the path in the script to absolute, but then, every argument (except for -debug) is detected as not a valid one... So I can't even run it as admin anymore.
UPDATE: okay, never mind, I can run it as admin in cmd in terminal. But that's it. I also tried turning off Windows Defender, no change.

Okay, I've noticed something interesting. Portal with RTX doesn't work anymore, although it used to before, and it gives the same error in .dmp file...

I'm out of ideas then unfortunately and it does not seem to be an issue with this compatibility mod but rather something related to your machine and remix itself. Please let me know if you find a fix for your issue
