In the case of a large number of entries, there is overlapse

Is there a way top make the entries not overlapse in the case that a large number of entries is being used or there is a limit of entries it supports?

You can play with the legend_offset & legend_column_width config params and/or switch quadrants so that the quadrant with longest list of names appears on the bottom. The legend layout is two columns and intended for technology names (typically short words). See https://github.com/zalando/tech-radar/blob/master/docs/radar.js#L38-L47 for default values.
You could also hide the legend and roll your own below the radar chart.
